Guess what they announced new Pokémon generation. So far just three starter pokémons and these two legendaries and so far everything looks good.SO. ... So we don't know the names for these two mascots of to-be-announced new Pokémon games, but the red bird thing features Pokémon Y and blue deer thing Pokémon X. For some reason I like them both. I personally like these somewhat surreal designs over wannabe-general animals.
Edit: Their names are Xerneas and Yveltal.

Yes they finally revealed Xerneas and Yveltal's typing: Xerneas is pure Fairy and Yveltal is Dark/flying.
I'm really hoping the Z Legendary or aka Zidhoggon (the name that's everyone's predicting) to be Dragon/Poison.

Or they could probably make 3 different movies. The first one being about Yveltal and Heaven. The second movie could be Xerneas and where the normal people live. The 3rd Movie could be The Z Legendary and Hell, and the last movie could be something similar to what they're doing with Genesect.

Does anyone else think that GameFreak is probably gonna be making the First X and Y Movie similar to the Darkrai one, but not too similar. Like, they could make some mini legendary like Darkrai battling Xerneas and Yveltal taht'll be cool or they could they do something completely different.

Completely different would be if they dumped Ash and did't put up a fight between legendaries. Just think what all the movies have been so far.

I thought I'd share something with you.
One of my friends told me today of a mythology that may have inspired the makers of these legendaries. It is set in a world divided in three parts, one above the other. The master of the upper part was a bird. The ruler of the middle part was a deer. The one to rule the bottom part was... A gryphon.
Therefore, if they really got inspired by this legend as my friend thinks... We may be seeing a gryphon legendary as the Z pokemon. Gods this would be so awesome if they make it look good. I'm hoping so much that my friend was clever with his thoughts here XD.

Would be interested if there were a gryphon pokémon, like, FINALLY. And if it was as cool as Yveltal and Xerneas, yes, I would like it. ... And surely its name would start with "Z". ... Hopefully not "Zyreus" at least. |D

I immediately fell in love with the bird, because it's a bird and i just love wing claws so much thanks to Digimon, haha.
I'm still not completely sold on the deer though, I wish it had something for it to stand out more other than its antlers, because I feel like it looks kinda..normal compared to the bird. But seeing the deer also reminded me of the fake Pokemon Jade...which isn't bad, I had good memories with that game. 8>

i think Xerneas is going to be a water/psychic type and Yveltal is going to be a fire/dark type with the ability levitate

To be honest I was not that disappointed when I saw the Pokemon of this Generation.

They are slightly unpokemonish but I don't see them as digimons either.

I simply love these new legendaries! I hated the legendary pokes in the 5th and 4th gen, but these... are just simply amazing <3 You got their anatomy here really, really nicely and I like the traditional art you used. ^^ Also, the background is pretty creative.
