Description Figured I'd go ahead and join an actual Pokemon thing here, as opposed to nothing but Fakemon groups and whatnot. Decided I'd go against my usual theme of archers in stories, RP's, and videogames, and went with the thief (kept a bit of archery with the crossbow, of course), and I also used some of my absolute favorite Pokemon that in reality I never seem to use all that often, which greatly disappoints me.

Name- Req
Age- 21
History- Having needed to fend for himself since his earlier teenage years, Req is skilled in combat against wild Pokemon, and has only recently started to capture and battle with them. Skilled with dual boomerangs and his knife, he is able to make his way through even the thickest of jungle with ease. His earlier childhood is somewhat of a mystery, but it is known that he has had some kind of a relationship (whether good or bad is unknown) with Gustave, having know the Krookodile since it was a Sandile. Gustave was his first Pokemon, and the capture was from hand-to-hand combat, with Req securing victory with a powerful nelson hold, which he often uses to subdue any foes.
The most that can be gathered of Req's upbringing is that he is the son of a pair of researchers who traveled to a kind of 'lost world' full of savage Pokemon and headhunters. After everyone in the expedition but himself died, he started to live on his own in the jungle and learned to fend for himself by fighting off the wild Pokemon and teaching himself how to hunt.
Personality- Not exactly a social person, Req tends to keep to himself and his Pokemon. He is quick to anger and won't hesitate to start a fight, but when in contact with women, he is immensely chivalrous. With a thick and rough sounding accent, it can at times be hard for strangers to understand him, but a day or two in his presence will be enough for people to understand how he speaks. When training, Req wrestles with his Pokemon, and has proven himself to be the 'alpha' of the group through strength and cunning.

Pokemon

Gustave/Krookodile- Req's first Pokemon and one that he has known for a great portion of his life. Gustave's territory included the best hunting grounds in Req's homeland, and so Req fought and defeated Gustave in combat to claim the territory as his own. Gustave is incredibly aggressive and doesn't battle- he hunts. It takes all of Req's strength and cunning to keep Gustave from eating a downed foe, and Req has suffered multiple serious bites from his Pokemon. Recently, while attempting to sabotage a shipment of supplies, Gustave lost his arm in a fight with a warrior's Dragonite.

Queen/Arbok- A pokemon who holds herself in high esteem. Her scales seem to be absolutely perfect, and if they are ever smudged or soiled, she will savagely lash out to the nearest Pokemon or human. She much prefers to sit coiled around Req's shoulders and neck than to battle. The scent alone of a rodent-like Pokemon is enough to drive her to obsessively search it out and eat it. During the rangers' assault on the thieve's guild, Queen evolved to help a wounded Req. In her new form, she has become hyper aggressive, but is still as sweet as ever with Req and the rest of the 'pack'.

Fenrir/Houndoom- Loyal to a fault, Fenrir will furiously protect Req from harm. An expert tracker, he is often used to hunt down wild game or find potential human victims to steal from. At the first sight of a feline Pokemon, he will begin chasing it.

Goanna/Venusaur- Goanna is immensely powerful, but he is surprisingly lazy. He prefers to lounge about in the sunlight and eat. But be warned- whenever he does get into a battling mood, he tends to fight ferociously. His main strategy to finish off an opponent is to seize them with Vine Whip and slam them into the cacti on his back. Goanna is rather friendly, as long as you don't mess with him.

Do you think I should make the pokes look more realistic to match him? Or keep them a little toony?

I like them the way they are. It lets them be more... expressive!
