SOMEONE REMEMBERED THE CLASSIC PRIMEVAL AND NOT THE NEW CRAPPY "PRIMEVAL NEW WORLD"

I actually found the writing and plot of New World to be leaps and bounds above that of the British version. Not that I dislike the old one.

In the new Primeval no one knows about those- DAMN! The name is hard to spell! The Time portals. NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THEM. But at the end of the first Primeval they had monster and Dinosaurs popping up everywhere! What did they tell them!? "There are just mutant Rats everyone! Don't say anything about those weird glowing portals that the mutant Rats come out of!" I mean it's like everyone just forgot!

Different timeline, perhaps? That's my only real complaint about New World. Aside from the 'fresh start' with the anomalies, the characters all seem to have some great depth and amazing development throughout the series. Have you watched it?

Yeah. I-it just was one of those shows where they would go too fast to keep up. But I do like how in Primeval the new world they added some prehistoric creatures that have been resonantly discovered! You know? Like? Like the 80 foot Snake the Titanaboa!

80's a bit too large. I'm pretty sure Titanoboa was only around 50 feet long. But yes, I was really glad they included it. I'm also glad they had two creatures that didn't randomly charge about and kill people.

I'll check, but in the documentary they said it was 80 feet. primeval sucks at their facts. Raptors are not 5-6 feet tall! They are 3-4 feet to.

The species of Primeval's raptors have never been revealed (sans the Utahraptor in New World). For all intents and purposes, they seem to be just a stock dinosaur, and not any particular species, which is why they can so easily get away with changing the size.

I hate stock dinosaurs!

You know, it feels weird just calling these guys "future predators", like there aren't any other predators in the future. Maybe I'll start calling them "bat-apes" because they look like some mutant apes but they're descended from bats.

Very nice!

I don't know how, but it makes me think of Necromorphs from Dead Space and Xenomorphs from Alien.
