It's always nice to delve into abstract from time to time. I do the same - all my handdrawn work is strictly realism and illustration, but with PCs I just like to go crazy

You should - its awesome once you get started. I believe the best order of programs is to start with Bryce and then move on to more complicated programs such as Cinema 4D and such. Bryce has a much more user friendly interface and stuff. You can get almost professional quality results within a week if you swat hard!

Great! I have all the software needed I need to plan out a project to get started and familiar with the app. The render time for this piece is incredible did it really take that long??

Yep... Expect that sort of length if you have a PC with plenty of software on it without a superfast processor... Oh well.

Yeh well worth it you know I am stoked thanks bro! its too bad it does not work from the graphics card, that would be great I wonder if its possible to render through the graphics to any benefit?

That's exactly what I have been studying for! I am trying to get into a uni which specialises in car design - Coventry. How weird... Well, there you go. What made you think of car design in this piece?

haha I dunno, the bubble in the middle kind of reminds me of 'futuristic' style cars, though yesterday I was thinking it's a bit tooooo curvy for a car. As long as the curves don't continue down under the car then it's probably okay Also you just get a feeling of speed from the lines and textures in this, and there are a few donut shapes which are amazingly reminiscent of that circle-y shape a car wheel has. Hehe Look forward to seeing some concept cars (not necessarily on dA remember me when you're head of design at BMW, I'll have the latest M1 please)
