Back into the wrestling ring... She had to admit, it was kinda refreshing after having been gone for so long. Between Elfride, pouring her heart out to Yumi and whoever the hell it was that came at her that evening, diving back into a fight like this was probably for the best. What was more her opponent was someone... kinda special: Elena Miyazawa, one of the golden girls of Berserk. Her name spoke for itself in the wrestling world to say nothing of the brand, the former #2 of a famous Idol Troup (or so her profile claimed) that quickly transitioned to wrestling to pursue her rival! Even now, in THIS league, she was here trying to push her name even higher on the totem pole. Cicilia could respect that, she supposed... And look, her title was related to an animal! Cats versus dogs, huh...?

Cicilia smirked.

"Okay... Lets do this."

It was the day of the match, and Cicilia thought she'd find this "Blue Panther" before it all went down. Cicilia was aware of her reputation, that she had a temper like dynamite and a trigger-finger itchier than a mosquito-bite... and she wanted to change that. She wanted to be someone that, maybe, someone out there could look up to, an inspiration, perhaps. She wanted to... BE somebody, she wanted to MATTER... and it started with becoming someone others wanted to be around. Cicilia would come to the locker room about a half-hour early, the German spotting her red-headed opponent pulling on the last of her gear. The German couldn't help but eyeball it dryly, noticing how... revealing and TIGHT it was. No doubt a callback to her days as an idol. ...And idol or not, she wasn't soft. Judging from her physique, Elena had dedicated herself FULLY to a career of fighting, her body toned firmly and shapely, keeping her curves and features while reinforcing them with a healthy amount of muscle. She moved with confidence, moderately paced and deliberate, as if this weren't new to her in the least. Cicilia was... kinda impressed. She knew that she'd need at least one other person to help her put on an outfit like this... Maybe Elena had more too her than what could be gleaned at first glance.

...Speaking of which...

Elena caught sight of Cicilia standing behind her, turning to face her with a stern, almost hard expression. She looked ready to fight, even now wearing a game-face that read "bring it on" in big, bold and capital letters. It caught the German by surprise, suppressing her greeting in her throat, Cicilia struggling to find the words she had prepared for this meeting!

"You're my opponent, right? Cicilia 'the Grey Wolf' De'Reignhardt?" Elena questioned flatly, placing a hand on her hip! The German nodded slowly, perhaps even allowing a small smirk to arch cross her face. Elena had some bite to her... good. Cicilia could feel her blood bubbling with excitement.

"Yeah. And you're Elena 'The Blue Panther' Miyazawa. I've heard a lot about you."

"Oh yeah?" Elena cocked an eyebrow, her lips curled into a suspicious frown. "What have you heard."

"That you're no pushover. You cut a swath through Berserk when you were just starting out and were only ever beaten once in those days."

Elena blinked, not expecting to hear such praise... and from her opponent no less! Elena had been... struggling in this new league and that was no secret. No matter how much progress she had made in the past, these new opponents were just... NEXT LEVEL and already, her win-loss record was starting to look spotty. She was surprised Cicilia hadn't used this knowledge to posture, to declare her victory already, call her a jobber. ...And she was also surprised to find a small, genuinely relieved smile to touch her lips!

"Thank you. Your reputation proceeds you, as well. I expect you to put up a great fight."

"You won't have to worry about that!" Cicilia laughed, already warming up to her. "...You'll do great too. I can already tell." Elena beamed a warm smile. "Hey listen, I came to wish you good luck. One wrestler to another, you know?" She held out her hand to the redhead who eyed it for a moment... before taking it and shaking it firmly.

"You too, Cicilia. Lets have fun, yeah?"

"You got it. Lets put on a good show."

Cicilia and Elena stood across from each other in the ring, blazing reds meeting flaming sapphires as the intensity crackled between them! Whatever camaraderie Cicilia and Elena had built between them was buried under professionalism, the stoic determination to win. After all, they couldn't let their friendship get in the way of winning, right? This is what they DID, what they dedicated themselves too: to fight with everything they had!

DING!

Cicilia and Elena charged each other but it was immediately obvious who was faster! Elena had already crossed over to the German's side of the ring before Cicilia was half-way, ducking low and slipping behind her faster than Cicilia could even process! From her perspective, she was a BLUR of blue and orange flashing before her vison until-

"URK!"

Cicilia gagged as Elena's arms locked around her neck and head in a rear-naked choke, her sanguine eyes gasping wide and her jaw clenching SHUT in shock! Elena's profile said she was fast but... but THIS!? This was just NUTS! Cicilia didn't even see her MOVE all that much, let alone prepare a choke! She grabbed at Elena's arms, trying to pry them lose but the Panther had already slipped away before Cicilia could get a solid grip! The wolf snarled in irritation and SWUNG an arm around in a scything backhand, hitting nothing but air as Elena ducked EXPERTLY beneath her fist! The redhead's boot came up in a sharp kick into Cicilia's stomach, a blow hard enough to stun her as another struck her HARD in the chest, throwing her to the ground with a mighty crash!

"Ugh... What in the..." Cicilia grunted, pushing herself up and shaking her head! Those kicks... her legs were STRONG! "...What is she...?"

"A panther." Elena responded, Cicilia looking up to see her looming over her.... and offering her a hand up! This time it was Cicilia's turn to blink in surprise... before smiling and taking her hand! Elena would pull Cicilia to her feet, offering the German a brief smile herself before stepping back and readying herself again. ...Huh. that had to have been the first time Cicilia ever experienced that kind of sportsmanship... This fight was serious, both women wanting to win with all their might... and still Elena found the time help her up...

"I win round one." Elena gloated, a challenging smile upon her face.

"It's only one round. It's the third that matters." Cicilia shot back... before going on the offense! Cicilia came at her like a batter, swinging for the fences with her fists CLEAVING deadly arcs through the air! Elena dodged and ducked expertly but the pressure was relentless, Cicilia chasing her around the arena in an unrelenting hunt! At one point, the redhead chose to FORCE Cicilia back, lunging at her in an attempt to grapple and catch her... only for Cicilia to lock hands with her, forcing the Panther into a test of strength!

"NNNGH!" She struggled as Cicilia almost IMMEDIATELY forced her down to one knee, the German smirking arrogantly as she pressed DOWN on Elena... before rearing back and SWINGING her HARD into the turnbuckle! The impact was such that the blue panther REBOUNDED off the corner and collapsed to her knees, huffing and puffing heavily... Her spine... Cicilia was THAT strong.....?

"What... how is she that strong...?" Elena grunted, slowly rising to one knee!

"Because I'm a wolf." Cicilia responded, mirroring Elena's earlier explanation! The redhead would look up... and see an open hand before her, its owner smiling. ...Elena took it.

"I win round two." Cicilia boasted, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, yeah... What was that about the third round...?" Elena asked, before dropping into her battle stance!

"...Thats where things get serious." Cicilia answered... and the two charged at each other again!

The fight went on for what felt like an age, but that didn't necessarily mean they were equal. With Elena's speed and techniques, Cicilia found herself on the end of MANY ugly submission techniques, A WHOLE LOT OF THEM focusing on her ARMS! Elena was fighting smart, trying to disable her opponent if she had to while going for a submission-victory where Cicilia was doing ALL SHE COULD just to ward it off! Even with her stamina, it was truly only a matter of time before the pain overwhelmed her senses and bled RED into her vision! She had to get out of this she-

...And then Elena made a mistake.

Aiming to end this, Elena LUNGED at the German, locking her down into a spider-submission hold! The pain... was excruciating, but Cicilia had done her research, looking back on that ONE LOSS Elena had against her rival... Slowly, the German would RISE to her feet with Elena hanging off her! Understanding FLASHED across Elena's vision but, as she unwound herself and jumped off, a hand CLASPED around her throat! Cicilia growled... AND LIFTED ELENA INTO THE AIR BEFORE SMASHING HER DOWN into the canvas in a BRUTAL chokeslam, the redhead's eyes shooting WIDE... then clenching SHUT as her body ARCHED with vestiges of pain!

...By the time she managed to open them, the countdown had been completed, Cicilia having hooked her leg as she lay there, stunned.

"...I... Lost..." Elena whispered, regret dripping from her lips. Another loss... ANOTHER ONE... Another spot to her record... She was trying so hard... improved so much since Berserk... and yet...

...Elena blinked, seeing Cicilia's hand offered to her once more, the Grey Wolf smiling down at her warmly.

"...Cicilia..." Elena whispered...

"Come on. Get up." Cicilia grunted reaching down and taking Elena's hand before helping her up to her feet. "...Lets go, huh?"

Elena blinked again. The crowd was CHEERING for her, the ref was declaring her the victor and... she just wanted to go...? Already? Wresters usually liked to flaunt their victory for a bit before heading backstage!

"...Why...?" Elena asked vaguely... but Cicilia seemed to get the message.

"Because you're good... and I respect you... and all that." Cicilia... tried to explain... before blushing in frustration and rolling her eyes. Elena looked at Cicilia... almost in awe... before smiling and nodding once.

"...Oh... okay. Lets go, then."
