It gets really tiring hearing complaints or opinions of others about my ldr. But that is what happens sometimes when people don't understand something...they attack it.
Let them keep attacking, I'll keep defending, because it is worth it.

I know the feeling. when I broke up with my now ex and started dating my boyfriend, a lot of my friends started saying mean things about my dude and I would defend him.

I was A Donjon Master for 4 years. My team of idlers and I had the particularity to do our Rôles-play games with voice chat like skype because we all were from at least a hundred milles away from each other. The greatest dictance between us was something like six thousand kilometres ( a friend of mine who live in the USA ).
So I kinda do understand what you fight for and this "package" may ( or may not ) help you through this quest !
It is now up to you to open ( or not ) the package...

Oddly I never really hear this from friends or family; I even have a friend who did long distance (for six years too!) from England to America like me and is now happily married. Which makes me much more confident in my three year LDR. But I do hate hearing this from tv shows and movies, it seems really common place to put down long distance relationships. One example that really bothered me was How I Met Your Mother and the Victoria storyline. P.S love your LDR comics, nice to see some comics that reflect how amazing they can be.

Hey there! Just throwing this in hoping id cheer you up
I met a guy about 6 or 7 years ago in a game and ever since then we kept talking with each others. Last summer vacation he finally came to visit and we decided to keep on going with this relation. If you really want someone,don't give up and never let another person carve your life the way they find fit. It really works, distance is nothing nowadays as long as you hang tight to that one wish or dream.

I've been struggling with how tiring the complaints i've been having with my relationship from people I know, even family and its quite tiring and irritating..you'd expect them to be supportive. When I just started dating my husband and had to move overseas, people, including his mom, kept telling him this stuff, including "oh, she'll find someone else in America!" just what the hell, people! :/

My situation is pretty much that my parents don't think my relationship will last because were "high school sweethearts" when really we started dating at the last year of high school after all the years of keeping our crush in for eachother, my parents say we won't last and that we'll find someone else in college, but I will keep fighting and defending and I WILL prove them wrong, I will prove to everyone that it doesn't matter the distance, age...etc. if both the people are happy in the relationship, their shouldn't be an issue..keep fighting, tabby, you're an inspiration to me.
