EDIT: Oh my goodness, this thing is so OLD and crappy looking! I can't believe it's still getting a few views and favorites. I'll have to make some new snazzy art to replace this.Well, since I have been a fan of Susan Coopers awesome series TDIR for ages, I looked around and noticed that there was hardly any Fan Art for it. I couldn't resist to add my creation to the site ^-^

Yes... They got every detail wrong except for two. They made Will an American recently moved to Britain. The shop lady with the signs?! I don't think so! They made it a love story when it wasn't, and Tom died. The only things they got remotely right was Greythorne Manor and The black Rider. They botched the signs, the plot, the mysteriousness that the fans love, everything. I think the three worst blows against the fandom was Merriman as he was portrayed in the movie, Will with his sarcastic attitude and hair color, and the failure at creating the sense of the Dark that you could feel while reading it. There was no dark and creeping feeling that left you urgent to follow Will on his quest. All I got was: "pfft."

Very neat! I'm a huge fan of the books, and I agree that there is not enough fan art for it on DA. I couldn't make myself watch the movie... I saw the trailer and almost cried.

Yeah, I watched the movie, and as a movie, by itself,(pretending the book didn't exist) was ok. I can't believe how badly they messed it up.
