History:

Jamie grew up in a conservative household. He has an older brother and a younger sister, making him the middle child. His mother is a college professor and his father a retired doctor. His father comes from a long line of doctors, and like his older brother, Jamie was also expected to carry on the tradition.

When Jamie was fifteen, he met Mac , a very hyper 6 year old. He went to the park to blow off steam when he saw a kid fall and scrape his knee. After not seeing a parent come to his aid, Jamie went and helped him. He gave Mac a piggy-back ride back to his house, which wasn't far. After that, Jamie became rather close with Mac and his family. He would walk Mac to school every morning along with his younger sister who went to the same school as Mac.
They're still friends; more like best friends. Even though Jamie sees Mac as a little brother, Mac tends to mother him a lot.

In middle school, Jamie went through puberty like everyone else his age. He was really confused about his sexuality and only till his sophomore year of high school did he come to accept that he was bi-curious. He had dated girls here and there, but didn't get to experience anything with guys till his senior year where he had kissed a guy at a party. College was where he started dating other guys though. Jamie was never ashamed or embarrassed of his sexuality, nor was he scared of what his peers thought of him. But he was scared of his father. He knew what he thought about homosexuals, and that it was "wrong" and "unnatural". Jamie tried to hide it as best as he could even if he was suspicious. In the end Jamie was caught making out with his "friend" in his room.

Jamie then moved out of his house when he went to college and into the dorms. He knew he wasn't going to change his dad's mind, and it was stressful having to live under his roof and his rules.

His relationship with his brother and sister isn't the best. He never got a long with his brother; they were just too different and never agreed on anything, but they still care for each other. As for his sister, they've grown apart. She went her own way, refusing to do what their dad wanted and didn't aim for the medical field. She became somewhat of a rebel and doesn't keep in touch which saddens Jamie. He feels he doesn't understand her anymore and that she never even gave him a chance to.

After Mac had graduated from High School, Jamie had been getting more chances to spend time with his close childhood friend. Despite their 9 year age gap, Jamie was always taken care of by his younger friend. But after being with Mac so much again, Jamie began to realize that he wasn't a kid any longer and that he was already a young adult. But it became even more troubling because he also started seeing him in another light. He was becoming attracted to Mac, which he didn't take so well at first. In that time span, there were a some freak outs and pulling away on Jamie's part. In the end Jamie came to terms with it and confessed these burning feelings to Mac, which he very much accepted because Jamie is a dunce and never noticed that Mac actually had secret feelings for him all these years.

Not too long ago, Jamie paid a visit to the animal shelter in hope to adopt a new addition to the family. That's where Jamie met Brutus, a big ol' dog of fluff that he fell in love with in minutes. Jamie adopted him that same day and they went home together.

These days Jamie just goes about his life in his one man apartment, working as a nurse at the hospital, and being absolutely happy with Mac and Brutus at his side that he loves and cherishes. Though, with a new family member, they might have to look for a bigger place.

Extra information:
Kisses Mac in his sleep when they cuddle- Kind of like sleepwalking. He isn't aware that he does this.
