  -About: She has two forms, her spectre-like dog form and human form. 90% of the time she’s in her human form. Blair’s footsteps don’t make any sound, even if she stomps in either of her forms. Her footsteps also leave behind a black footprint that quickly thins away in seconds. The Black Shuck is said to be an omen of death, but Blair cannot cause someone’s death if they see her in her dog form. She can only tell if someone is going to die soon. Another ability she has is invisibility. She can become invisible to the naked eye in both her human and dog form. However only spirits or ghosts can see her when she becomes invisible.

   Bair is a very relaxed person, so much so that she can stay rather calm in the middle of a chaos. She is also a bit antisocial and keeps to herself most of the time; it’s kind of rare for her to strike up small-chat with someone she barely knows. Blair is however a very loyal, trusting and protective friend.

Background:
  Blair wandered around the countryside or East Anglia of England when she came into existence. Where she exactly came from is even a mystery to her. For the longest time, she only remembers serving one purpose, that is to be the omen of death. She took the form of a black dog with a single red eye and quickly made a reputation for herself among the townsfolk. She stayed hidden around them until it called to her to reveal herself to the ones that would soon perish. Blair would follow them till their death, and once their spirit was released, she walked them safely to their door where they would pass on. Over time, Blair became more aware of herself and what she was as well as who she was. Perhaps it was because of her constant contact with humans, but she gradually developed a personality, deeper thinking, a conscience. However she continued her duty, and moved about with the people unnoticed.

  One night, Blair followed the scent of death to a woman that was taking a side road through the town. As Blair found her, the woman was being followed by someone else. A man was tailing her, calling out to her and quickly was becoming aggressive. Blair could sense the fear from her and it became stronger once the man caught up to her and grabbed her roughly by the arm. The man sounded upset and angry that she ignored him and as Blair watched hidden from them, the scene started to turn for the worse. Blair couldn’t stand there and watch this happen; it wasn’t the time for her to die yet. No, she would live with this till her death. Blair dashed forward and in a split second, revealed herself from the shadows and sunk her teeth into the man’s leg with a gnarly snarl. He fought back and screamed at her clenched jaw as she dragged him to the ground. He kicked at her head with his free foot until Blair finally let go. It didn’t take him long to frantically hobble to his feet and ran as fast he could with his limp. Blair stood there, mouth blood and panted. She watched him retreat into the dark then turned to see to the woman. She sat on the ground, still in shock and stared at Blair in shock. Her eyes filled with tears and Blair moved closer to her. The woman wrapped her arms around Blair’s neck, clung to her and wept into her fur. From then on, Blair walked along side the woman back to her home at night on that same side road, in veiw, until she passed away from a chronic illness.
