Okay... no, this isn't a manipulation... the potted plants are behind very old and very dirty windows which gave this effect.... (and yes, I should have lowered the camera a bit)Related content

I think the angle is fine, I just wish there was more space left on the left side (or some crop from ther top). The effect is very nice, looks like a painting with watercolors, left out in the rain. Very atmospheric.

If you've got photoshop, you might play around with filters/sharpen/unsharp mask and see if you get any improvement.
I think it's a great idea, but it comes across as very muddy.
I think that maybe if one or two of the flowers should be a little more 'in focus' it would work better.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I think the unsharpness comes mostly from the fact that the window was soooo dirty and old... I tried to sharpen it more, but the result didn't look very realistic... thanks for the comment!

I don't know that I like this one it looks more like a painting than a photograph...but I must admit it is a cool idea. I guess I'm more a crisp colorful type of person adn this kind of well depresses me...like tear drops ran the colors together or something..

Good picture, almost looks like a painting! And no, you don't have to look further down, it is good as it is since the bluish-greenish color is so intriguing! However, it seems as if the picture is leaning a little to the right, but maybe that's just me... keep it up!

interesting and cool... not something i'd hang on my wall but at the very least the beginings of such a thing. maybe a little more saturation or something to bring out the contrast. anyway i quite like it.

I'm glad you like it. Believe it or not I've already added saturation and contrast to it... this is as far as I could go with it without losing important middle tones and it starting to look unnatural...

I'm not completely conviced that the camera should be lowered, I think this perspective is a good one, it gives more room to the texture of the window. You do abstracts very well. This scene reminds me of a little english cottage on a rainy day, and because I can't see anything to break the illusion, which in this case is a good thing I believe.
