I wanted to do a gift art advent calendar forever, but I totally underestimated the work involved.Stormbreak, for , who is an amazing cartoony artist able to draw about anything, and also a great person.
Edit: Minor alterations to the eyes, look less squished now.

AHHH YOU'RE DOING THIS!!!!! I've always wanted to try something like this. And I always end up taking a TON of new work in November and shoot myself in the foot ahhh.
THIS IS SO CUTE THOUGH OMG. I love how the pretty blue background matches her lovely eyes, and her sheepish little expression and SCARF!!! AHHH. I LOVE THE SCARF IT'S ADORABLE. The blue shading looks really nice too. Makes the whole thing seem cold. And like you'd need AN ADORABLE SCARF. EEEEE.
Omg December just got 20 times better. I can't wait to see all the little doodles you do!!!

I KNOW HAHAHA. Twice I've gotten as far as making the list of who I'd drawing for, and then never actually draw anything. Next year dammit NEXT YEAR. And I can imagine how much work that is! Not to mention that it's every day, which is the part that would ultimately hang me up, I think. I'd have to do it all way in advance <__<

OMG I totally didn't have a heart attack when I saw this. Nooo, not at all. You somehow always elicit the strangest, most inhuman sounds from me whenever I see a picture you have made for me. Where do I even begin on this?! As with everything you do, your superb anatomy skills and mastery of expressions always shines through. Wow, you always draw Stormbreak looking so gorgeous and every spot is literally "spot on." And her little fangs poking out, what a cutie!!!!!! The shading is just perfect, I love the contrast between the blues and yellows and how soft she looks with the blurring of the shading. And that scarrrrrf, Stormy, when did you get so festive?! I just want to hug her (and you) in a massive glomp and never let go. I think it is so amazingly nice of you to make a gift art advent calendar and very brave of you to undertake all that work. I want to try and do that one day, it sounds like it would be a lot of fun and it's always great being able to make other people happy. Speaking of which, I just can't even express how happy I am to see this. This is going to be my background on my ipod for Christmas <3 I love it so much, my cheeks hurt from smiling so big. And reading your little comment made me grin even more like an idiot. I've been busy this morning but this picture has just made me so exuberant and full of energy, I can't sit still. Thank you, thank you sooooo much again. You are such a wonderful person and artist and I'm so honored. I hope you have a great holiday season and good luck with the rest of your calendar!

Aw, thanks, Stormy! I'm so glad you enjoyed it - but you need to breathe. x) Seriously though, thank you very much. I'm always hyper nervous when I give a picture to somebody. (So by the end of this calendar I'll either be cured or in hospital.

Ah, I have no idea why you would be so nervous. You're taking time out of your day to make someone something and to make them happy, how can anyone not appreciate that? And then the resulting pic is ALWAYS EPIC so you know, that's a huge plus too XD If someone doesn't appreciate all the time and effort and thought you put into each drawing, then they shouldn't matter, because you are worth more than that <3 But that is good you are facing your fears while simultaneously making someone's day. That's very admirable. Thank you sooooo much again for everything!
