Holy...freaking...crap. OOOOOOOOOOOHHHH MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYY GOSSSSHHHHH!!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! I have no words for this! I saw this yesterday and was rendered speechless and even though I've sat down multiple times to comment on this, I haven't been able to keep it together because I keep getting distracted by the epic MAJESTY of this picture. I have been squealing and gushing about this pic to my family and friends and I just get so giddy every time I glance up at it, even while I'm trying to comment. Stormbreak is PERFECT!!! Her facial profile is spot on and so expressive and those large ears are far too cute for my heart to be able to bear. Also you totally nailed her stockier body type, and those piercing, gorgeous eyes of hers. And of course, you can't have Storm without her playful personality. Just look at how focused she is! And that tongue!!!! *heart stops* I feel bad for whoever she's preparing to pounce on because they are about to get 155 pounds of derpy kitty all over them. I can just see her tail swishing back and forth as she gets ready to leap. Aaaaaaaaaagjgjsdgjksdjkgjksdgjkdg I am literally shaking, I'm so excited about this. She is so perfect, every marking looks exactly how it is supposed to. I have no idea what you are talking about when you say you completely butcher my characters. The pics you have made for me are some of my most treasured pics I've ever received of any of my ocs. Your mastery of anatomy and your impeccable eye for detail always ensures that my chars look as amazing as possible. Purple is my absolute favorite color to see Storm shaded in and I think it goes with her colors really well, but I have a whole new appreciation for it now, seeing this masterpiece. I also love her little whiskers!!!! I never add eyebrow whiskers on my pics but I think I should because it just amps up the whole cuteness thing like, a bajillion percent. I think the best part about this is that is was a complete surprise. I had just come online to briefly check my messages and I saw THIS and my I think my heart skipped several beats. Thank you so much for doing this!!!!!!!!! "Thank you" seems like such a pale phrase because it doesn't even begin to express my gratitude. It was the least I could do to make a picture for you for your birthday and I definitely didn't expect anything in return after the full on wonderousness that was the pic you did of Remikins last year. Gossssh, I put this on my ipad as the lock screen and I plan to print this out and hang it somewhere too. Sorry for the wall of text and the completely unglamorous rant of love for this, but I don't think I could even begin to articulate my feelings in any other way. Again, thank you soooooo much for this wonderful picture. I'm going to stare at this some more!

I'm so relieved that you like it.Β ^^ I was really unsure about this... like I have a pile of components and no clue anymore if they fit together. For example, I had a reference pic for the body perspective. In that, it looked natural. Cats get loaf shaped when they crouch like this... but doesn't drawn Stormy look too bulky? I decided not to change anything. There's the phrase "verschlimmbessern" in German, you could translate it as "improworse sth." (trying to improve things but actually make them worse) , and I didn't want to risk it. x) And you had eyebrow whiskers in your ref pic. Whee, either way!

Oh gosh. This is just so lovely and I can't fathom how you would have any doubt about it. I guess that is just the way of the artist Β xD I love crouching cats, when their shoulder blades get all weird looking and they revert to loaf-mode. Adsgfsbfdb I love that phrase xD that word describes most of the things I try and do in life xD OH my, I totally didn't realize I added eyebrow whiskers on her ref lol it's so uncommon for me to add them. LOVE it.Β Omg THAT TINY TONGUE ahahaha it's perfect!! I LOVE those big glassy eyes too! They're so crazy-focused and fantastic.Β I also really like how he's going to pounce on the viewer.Β I'm so into that omg LOOK AT THOSE LOVELY MEATY CAT ARMS.Β I am in LOVE.Β I so love the way you do toes. One question, though... do you think I still overdo my cat legs a bit? I tried to work on that, seeing that in the past, I gave them huge treetrunk like stompers. XD I really rely on feedback like that, so a honest opinion would be greatly appreciated! ^^ Thanks, and enjoy your Sunday!

Well I wouldn't want to judge this picture, because I figured you were going for a perspective kinda-deal?Β They definitely look better than before, though!Β If you do overdo it, I think it's a super small amount, and I *LOVE* chunky cat legs anyway <__<.Β So I think my answer would be "maybe a little, but I think it's awesome".Β Your wolf legs might be a bit too big though?Β I hate canine pencil legs though so I'm definitely okay with this.

Haha, I can't deny that! Sometimes super skinny dogs walk by on pencil legs and I think "If I drew them that way, it would look wrong" but actually it's my perception that's a bit warped. Thank you!
