In my latest poll I asked which of my OC pairs I should draw next, and my female leopards Kione and Nayan were the winners. I haven't really drawn the two of them having a close moment, mostly because 1) I initially envisioned them as having a strained relationship, and 2) SPOTS ARE SO FUCKING TEDIOUS. But it's my own fault for having leopard characters. I changed their designs just a tad, trying to make them a bit more realistic, which is the way my style is going these days.

Oooh, yay, a critique! You're definitely right about the spots. I was very focused on just getting them all drawn so I didn't pay close enough attention to how small the spots were. As for the fogginess, I was going for a bit of haze, for the purposes of atmospheric perspective, but it looks like I overdid it. And I see what you mean about the back leg. The reference photo I looked at to help me draw that leg did look like that, though. I wish I could find that photo now, lol.

I love all the extra spots!  It has a very artistic, semi-realistic, paint splatter effect to it that is very pleasing to the eye!   Your art style is beautiful, and the entire piece is just brilliant!
