Version of the scarred of boys, probably update Mystery Lion later, maybe make him a tad brighter, but he's living in the outlands, and they seem pretty grayed out, so I'm not sure

Strange Lion / Mgeni

King of the Mbala Kingdom before his unfortunate, sudden death, Mgeni was, well, he was Mgeni. He kept to himself, and despite being the King, it was mostly his mate Regea running the Kingdom.

No, instead he spent his time plotting with his snake friend on how to claim the Kingdom his ancestor's had fought to control, and when this brooding, brat teenage lion showed up, he was the perfect opportunity to take what rightfully belonged to his ancestors.

Unlike the show, Mgeni took Scar under his paws, teaching him all he knew, and Scar began to know the Outlands more then any Pridelander, Mgeni basically became Scar's father, and fed into his beliefs, and misunderstandings. Similar to the show he is responsible for Scar's, well y'know scar, but it wasn't a snake bite that did it. He didn't really get the chance to gloat about it either after his pupil had his revenge (and first kill).

He is the father of Zira and Ni.

As for his scar (and ear notch), I'm not sure, I'm inclined to take TLK6NA Scar origin, and say he got it from a buffalo, but I kind of feel as though he got it from a fight.

Also, my idea voice for him would be Ozai from Atla, so Mark Hamill, I didn't think of this until I kind of envisioned Zira and Ni's relationship in similar fashion as Azula and Zuko. Which Mgeni probably had the same relationship Ozai had with Zuko, except Ni was never able to stand up to his father, he never got the chance.

Scar / Taka / Askari

Born in the Pride Lands as Taka, and sent away, he would be betrothed to some lioness in a far off kingdom and given the name Askari, until the truth came out that he was the second born, and to inherit the Guard. Thus, as a young teen (imagine Kion s3 aged), he would return to the Pride Lands, bitter that he didn't get to take over a Pride, and now he was second to some brute with no brains, and his supposed parents couldn't even bother dealing with him.

Thus his brother primarily took care of him, not that Askari wanted it, he didn't want any of this, he wanted to be King, not some servant. So instead of attending many of his lessons, he ventured off, and eventually met Mgeni, who fed into his desires, and endulged in his attitudes. What made it better was when Mufasa began doubting his betrothal to Sarabi, or having cubs at all, and swore Askari would take over when his time as king was over. Thus fueling Askari's desires.

He slowly begins shirking his lessons, both with the Guard, various lessons Mufasa attempts to teach him, and Mgeni, after all, he was next in line, it didn't matter what he knew, all that mattered that he was going to be king. Eventually he gets his scar as a result of pushing Mgeni too far, got his nickname which Mufasa regrets giving as a joke since it really took off with the rest of the pride, and he slowly offed his Guard for rellying more on his brother then him.

He's still going to be King of course. Until Mufasa when he's much older, changes his mind when Sarabi shows up once again in his life, and his dreams are ruined.

He's father of no one, but there are rumors he had a litter with one lioness, which he doesn't acknowledge, and she refuses to answer.

Kiongozi

The first guard in the Pride lands since Scar's, he's a natural at his job, especially from a young age to the point in the eyes of some he practically needs no training. Of course when he was a cub, most of his "jobs" weren't really serious, life threatening, mostly just youths in the lands squabbling (yes, I'm not going to have a cub fight off grown crocodiles, hyenas or lions), it was only when he was a teenager when he got real training in protecting the lands.

He may have butted heads with his sister, but he was never jealous of her, and even came up with very bright ideas that will continue with the guard for generations to come. Such as, opening the Guard up for all species, and the position of Wisest is added to the Guard (though that may take a few generations to really stick). He was set to become a very much stable figure in the Ndona Kingdom history, almost in similar fashion to Askari the first Guard.

Until he was a teenager, and venturing into the Outlands to aid in some help with friendly Outlander animals, and he was bitten by the cobra, Ushari, who was notable for his dry bites in the Pride Lands. This would lead to swelling, and the mercy to the Kings of the Past it was one of Ushari's notorious dry bites, as Kiongozi survived it, but there was a change.

He was shorter tempered, he was moody, and it was blamed on the bite, and when the two scars were left behind, many of the Pride landers were convinced he'd end up like Scar. Kiongozi left with his Guard, and Mjuzi apprentice, Makini to the rumored, Tree of Life to be healed alongside Ono who had been blinded. His family awaited his return, but were surprised when the guard and Makini returned without him or Bunga.

Kiongozi alongside Bunga had found love, Kiongozi finding his within the future Queen of the Tree of Life, Rani, she helped him heal, and made him realize he was just a teenager going through trauma, not some snake venom in his system making him short tempered.

He has at least a daughter with Rani, named Aasha.

Kovu

The heir to Scar, and the dark Prince of the Outlands, Kovu was raised by Zira to be a brute, to take over the Pride Lands, which he would serve. If he really wanted that, no Kovu, didn't want to be some brute that murdered his way to the throne, it is even debated if he wanted to be a royal, but alas fate wasn't in his favor. Kovu despite Zira's tale, was never selected by Scar, but because his similar appearance (dark fur, mane, pointed black nose, green eyes), she believed he was, after all, why would he look so similar to her King?

He was raised, and sent out to kill Simba, but everything changed because of one thing: love. It was cliche, but it wasn't just Kiara that changed him, it was the Pride Lands, the Ndona Kingdom, everything and everyone there was so very different from his life. They feared him, was weary of him, but they never brutalized him, or any of their own, they were like a family he'd never experienced before.

It didn't take long for him to see that everything he, his siblings, and Pride members had been fed, taught, and beaten into believing was a lie, so he switched his allegiances to the Ndona Kingdom until that fateful day he accidentally led Simba into an ambush and his brother died. From a strike from his mother, Kovu was scarred across his face, and blinded in one eye. He was truly exiled from his pride then.

Then he was exiled from the Ndona Kingdom out of fear, but Kiara followed him out of the lands in secret. The two returned by the next day, and stopped an all out war between their prides, with his mother dying due to her stubborness, and the prides uniting.

Kovu became the Prince-consort to the Kingdom, and the mate to Kiara, he will be the force behind her, keeping the lands safe alongside his sister who took up the Guard when Kiongozi never returned.

He is the father of Upendo, Ishi, Cheka, Jifunza (with Kiara), and Ridhiki (Zuri)

Still got a couple more stuff holed up, in my sta.sh and other, be posting over the days when I get the courage, and or desire to actually make a summary. If me doing a posting spree is annoying, just tell me gang and I can wait longer between posts.

Anyway enjoy these four, though I'm noticing a pattern of lions getting scarred. Next generation better look out, may get cut up. Also I hate viewing my art days/weeks later, Scar's mane is messed up lopsided mane ugh
