Here it is, my actual picture for The Valentine's Day Contest at ~!So this is probably the last piece I'll be able to do with my set of twelve colored pencils, seeing as I killed my poor white pencil. But it was fu-un~ I love mixing the basic colors to get cooler ones--like Pit's hair! Kami, that was so much fun to do~.
I've actually had this done for over a week. But I originally decided that I wasn't going to upload it until I had finished Red Tie ([link] ) But then, I finished the fic and just wanted to be done with it, so-ooo, I submitted them separately.
Anywaaaays.

Wow, again... AWESOME. You definitely got some nice color combinations going on here. The red is distinct, but doesn't draw attention away from Pit and Ike (like most people tend to do with red and any other characters, I find...). You're drawing skills never cease to amaze me... although I think Ike's lower jaw is just a tad bit oversized here. Then again, I could be wrong?
And how'd Pit hurt his elbow? *notices red spot covered with a bandaid*
And the faces in the hearts are nice touches, too. Another great piece from the same great Mabs~

Good~ I was hoping that the red would unify the piece, so it wasn't quite so... disorganized.
Well, red IS a bright color.
Yah, I made a few errors on Ike's face. It makes Ham really grumpy. XD But I'm still proud of it, because I wanted him to look masculine, and I feel I suceeded.
...track, more likly than not. He's an athletic little bugger, and it would suprise me if he's always getting himself into trouble.

Oh, you most certainly succeeded in making Ike look masculine 8D The red really unifies the piece, too, I think. And it's a very nice shade of red. Oh really o.O I did not know that...

ZOMG! This is really REALLY good. How on Earth did you get Pit's hair like that?

Lots, and LOTS of blending and layering. First I went over it with a light layer of red. Then I added some yellow and blue. I scubbed in some brown for the majority of the color, and then I sealed it up with more red and yellow. It took a good 45 minutes to an hour for just that.
But it was soooo much fun to do.
