Description Early Victorian dresses are actually much simpler than in the previous decade. They have high waistlines and long, tight sleeves, short for the evening. Skirt is full becouse of many layers of petticoats, as crinoline is not invented yet.

Make-up is seen in a bad taste and proper women don't use it (or at least they keep it natural). Hair is often worn in 17th century-like style (hurluberlu)
