Been too long since I submitted a decently worked through piece. But here it is! A lot of time was put into this, and it underwent a lot of transitions over the course of creation. Thanks a lot to ~Baro for invaluable tips and critique.Original size: 3000x4300 (so there's room for wallpapers, would anyone want that).
This is the second piece of my nebulae centred gem series, the first being "Shores of Gold" (yes, the planet has been reused for that purpose):

We'll see what kind of gemstone (not that gold is actually a gem, but ah well) I'll present next. Emeralds? Amethysts? Rubies? A lot of nice colours and themes too choose from.

I really love the coloring, and how magical you made it look. The colors of Blue, Black and White just go so well together here! I love the smokey look of it, and the shiny stars floating around.

( no i jest I love this ) but it still reminds me of it a little. xD

Looks scary. I had a nighmare about this place once. See, I was floating in my hallway, and I was transportted from my hallway, to here. Then, I heard whispering. I couldn't tell what they were saying but it was scary. It was quiet but loud at the same time. Then, if you see that weird spirally thingy down there, it came to form a face. The face screamed right in front of me, then I screamed. I woke up in my bed, covered in sweat whispering, "Why?" to myself over and over again. It was a horrible night.

You should do the alexandrite gem, it's purple and green with a mix of the iridescent rainbow. Its my favorite gem, used to have a ring but the stone fell out sadly.
