Another case of leatherworking gone awry. I've been loving doing these, and my hands are permanently stained different colors from leather dye!After all of the Doctor Who journals (which, fair warning, I have more to post shortly!) I asked some friends what else they thought I could do, and it was unanimously "Game of Thrones"
If you haven't seen this show yet, do it. It is amazing, if you like epic fantasy, that feels historical, a little magical, and overwhelmingly full of characters you either love or hate, and sometimes love and then hate and then love again.
Or read the books. They're big, but you wind up ripping through them so quickly because they're horribly addicting.
Instead of uploading them all separately, I thought I'd post these four together (although there are a few variants/experiments that aren't pictured here, mostly dying color variations). I started with the four main Houses:
House Stark : "Winter is Coming"
House Lannister : "Hear me Roar"

I just recently finished the first book, and I was so mad at myself for not having The Clash of Kings on hand. Though, now that I think about it, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. I am addicted to it; though, I'm not as bad when I was reading The Sword of Truth series last summer.

Thank you! They're such good books - although the show is really well done and so close to the books I actually had a hard time trying to re-read "A Game of Thrones" because I was like "okay, I know what happens next... skips a few pages... nope, remember this, too..."

I was actually thinking about it, but they are really, super protective over the copyright to anything remotely Harry Potter, so I didn't really want to risk a run in. Although I've been working on my own art for the different houses, so maybe that would be okay :3 I'll keep working on it, and see what happens!

I hear you! I just got Dance with Dragons, and now want to reread them all so I can remember what's happening ^^
The show is good for an adaptation - a few things were ... off, but so far, one of the most "true" translations of a book into a show!! And the actor playing Littlefinger is so good, as is Tyrion.
