Another of those Steampunk themed journals that kicked off my leather journal making craze ^^

This one is really dark, which is why it's kinda reflecting the light weirdly, to actually show the cut work and embossing. Otherwise, it doesn't show up very well, because it's a very dark, chocolate brown.

More gears, more swirls, more pretty :3 I think I need to get more leather, though, as I'm flat out of this weight, and I have so many more ideas to try!

The book on the inside is a lined journal that can be replaced when you fill it up, so that it's always ready to jot down notes, ideas, inspirations or notations. It's also small enough to fit comfortably in your back pocket. They close with a leather thong tie, in the style of vintage expedition notebooks.

Each and every one of these is different, as I make them more on a whim of placing the gears and details based on my mood, feelings, or natural variations showing in the hide, and that doesn't even mention the staining process which always yields different results! No two could ever be alike.
