Everything was perfect. The already clean house was even cleaner than usual, and the sunlight streamed cheerfully through the navy blue curtains. Not a speck of dust that was visible to the eye was on the furniture, and the scent of pork curry wafting through the air. The woman in the middle of the apartment clasped her hands together, content with the appearance of the room. Her fiance had been playing volleyball overseas for the past few months, and she had been counting down the days until he came back.

And that was the present day.

She had prepared his favorite foods, and everything was to his liking. Now came the part she dreaded the most came.

Waiting.

[Name] had always been an impatient person, even when it came to waiting to purchase the ingredients needed for the meal. Normally, she would've went to the airport so she could see him as soon as possible, but he had been gaining fame for the past few months and her stomach had been more noticeable than normal. A soft smile touched her lips as she gently cupped her slightly bigger stomach.

She was snapped out of this moment when she heard the front door click open. She poked her head out to see if it indeed was the person she was waiting for, and luckily, it was. A smile that rivaled even Hinata's fell upon her face.

"Tobio! How was-" Her smile fell when the ravenette passed her, not even sparing a glance.

A worried look was sent to the male when she reached out to touch his shoulders. "T-Tobio? Wh-What's wrong-"

She was once again cut off when the male harshly ripped her petite hand off his broad shoulders. His navy colored eyes held a burning rage that was never once in their relationship sent in her direction, so it was expected when she was frightened.

His eyes narrowed when he noticed her stomach. "Who's is it?" He demanded in a deathly serious tone. It was the first words he had said to her since his return so she was slightly confused.

"Eh? What do you mean?"

She received no response when the setter grabbed the television remote and practically smashed two of the buttons. Her eyes flickered from him to the television as she watched the female anchor.

"Two days ago, Kageyama Tobio's fiance was spotted with an unknown male. The volleyball player has been overseas for the past few months, so could it be that [Last Name] [Name] is having a secret affair? These photos were sent from fans of the famous setter."

The screen than flickered to a photo of [Name] laughing, arms hooked with a male.

"So who's is it? Mine, or his?!" Again, he repeated the question that he had asked only a minute before. His eyes were locked on the girl's stomach rather than her eyes.

[Name] was shocked at the question. How could he believe that she wasn't faithful to him? She just couldn't believe her ears. "Wh-What?"

His hand clenched together, veins clearly visible. "Who does the baby belong to? Me, or him?" The fire in his eyes only seemed to be fueled by his fiance's words.

"Tobio! Of course it's yours! How could you think that I would cheat on you?" Her eyes were starting to water. Nothing hurt more than her own lover thinking that she had been in bed with another man.

"Then who's that guy?!" His index finger jabbed towards the television screen, pointing at the mystery man.

"Tobio.." Her voice grew softer with every word, "Do-Don't you trust me?"

She was met with an ice cold glare. "Who. Is. He."

[Name] clenched her teeth in anger, ignoring the stray tears that had slid down her cheeks. "That's my brother! I was just spending time with him before he went back to Canada!" The girl's lip trembled more and more with each word spoken, "How could you be so shallow?!"

With wobbling knees and an aching heart, the female trudged up to their shared bedroom, leaving a stunned Kageyama behind. He was snapped out of his own little world when he heard a sniffle. The woman in front of him dabbed at her eyes with her white handkerchief before she began her trek up the stairs. Much to her dismay, the volleyball player made no attempt to stop her. What had she been thinking? The two of them both knew that he was much too prideful to apologize.

The male that had been left in the living room was shocked, and slightly ashamed in his actions. He had acted rashly instead of finding out a solution maturely, such as simply asking his fiance who the man was. He should've known better than to distrust his soon-to-be wife, and to believe information from a gossip channel. [Name] had never doubted him, not even once in their relationship, and he should've done the same with her. After all, a relationship was built on trust, and he had left his beloved thinking that he didn't trust her.

He wanted to go apologize, he really did. His pride simply got in the way, and thus he wasn't able to do what he wanted. Kageyama paced nervously in the kitchen, mentally debating on what he should do. When his eyes caught sight of his favorite meal on the kitchen table, he made his decision.

His pride could go to hell.

He quietly tiptoed towards the door, delicately placing his ear on it, hoping to hear a sound, any type of sound. When he heard done, he instantly grew worried.

[Name] was unaware of the fact that Kageyama was only a door away from her. She quietly stalked towards the mattress, the once airy room now seemingly drab. A sniffle left her as she silently slipped under the cold blankets. Her lover's side of the bed had been neglected for the past few months and the scent from the pillow was long gone. The only item in the room that hadn't been taken with Kageyama was his old Karasuno jacket, and she instinctively grabbed it. She longed for the actual owner of the jacket, but it was the best thing she had at the moment. Within a few minutes, she had fallen asleep.

When the girl awoke, it was three hours later than when she first started napping. She was prevented from getting up by a mysterious weight holding her down. A pair of arms were wrapped around her waist and its hands gently cupped her small baby bump. Their long legs were tangled with her shorter ones and she could feel the breath of someone else behind her.

Carefully craning her neck, she was met with the peaceful resting face of the setter that had returned only hours ago. It was much different than the usual resting 'bitch face' that he usually wore. The tiniest hints of a smile were visible, though they quickly vanished when he began to wake up. Eyelids opened to reveal the navy blue orbs that made the female's heart flutter every time. The owner only sighed and nuzzled into the crook of her neck, before (carefully), pulling her closer.

"Forgive me." Kageyama whispered, making her skin tingle at the contact of his warm breath. The feeling of her head nodding was good enough for him.

"..How did you get in here?"

Silence. The male had the look of a child who had stolen a cookie from the cookie jar. Ever so slowly, [Name]'s eyes trailed over to the door
