Description I now realize where the makers of Alien got their inspiration for their creatures from. Since no one really did an anthro version of this ancient, yet young, creature, he just sort of slipped onto the paper while drawing.

Give up on what he is? just look a llittle to the left and you'll see the non anthro version of him.

There's no need to download him unless you want a bigger pic.

I knew what he was the moment I saw him. one of the FEW ..if not only creature to have never evolved over millions of years.

Truly wonderful! A combination of two of my favorite things: Marker artwork, and anthros of bizarre, unloved critters! I can honestly say that this is the first horse-shoe crab anthro I've ever seen. Most impressive. I love how you've retained its natural traits while still adding some human features, like bipedalism. The intricacy of his "armor" is exquisitely done, and I love the thoughtful pose you've given him.

Great job on the coloration, as well. It's so slick and bright, with plenty of details. The shading is simple but effective. Overall, wonderful illustration!
