"Pff. This guy. Thinks he can stay up all night grading papers then use me as a pillow when I've got work to do."A color version of the sketch of the same name. I was going to submit it to the Horitsuba contest at , but I missed the deadline... Oh well. It would have been my second entry anyway.
Um. Scan is worse than original. I am very clumsy with white acrylic. Watercolors go all over the place, and I'm not sure how to color large areas smoothly. On the other hand, I discovered I can use calligraphy ink for the lineart if I apply it after the watercolors are dry! Except in places like Fai's hair where I didn't let them dry enough, so the lines are too thick :{ .
Sometimes I am dissatisfied with my artistic ability.

Thanks for the advice - I will definitely try that next time! I wish I could get some nice markers, because it looks like they scan better than watercolors, but... so expensive XP .
