I love them all. Is this a picnic on Box Hill? And where is Aurora and Philip? Are they at a ball? Or away in London? (so many possibilities) This is lovely and the art looks perfect. It is hard to incorporateΒ those bright colors to the soft-colored Austenian style. You made it work beautifully.Β

It's funny that you say this is due to Pride and Prejudice. The scene totally reminds me of the picnic in the new BBC version of Emma.

Yeah funnily enough the picnic's in Emma but it was watching Pride and Prejudice that sent my brain on Jane AustenxDisney crossover tangents.Β I did ponder about Netherfield ball theme too. Β

I prefer the BBC series (just has tons more character detail since it has four hour-long episodes to tell the story with) with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle but either way, awesome story and I love princesses in Austen settings.

I haven't seen that Emma but I think there was a picnic in the Gwyneth Paltrow movie version too? Been ages since I saw that one too though... gah. Brain! Why can't you remember EVERYTHING?

I make no promises as I have too many ideas and not enough time, I would love to do more of most anything I draw. And Tiana's one of my top 3 favourite princesses, I try include her when I can.
