Description I made this for Elemental Gypsy's fanfic Healing of the Heart. [link]

The pairing is Hiro/Kai, and yes, people, that is a preg-Kai. Their son, Toshiro. I just wanted to do something different and have an excuse to develop my drawing skills on a kid.

Anyways, no flames cause this is purely fan-made for her fic. I hope you like it EG! I had fun making Toshiro!

Starting from the top, to the right, then left. (I know. I'm weird)

Kai and baby Toshiro. I'm not too good at babies, but I saw this pose and just thought that it suited him. ^^
Toshiro at age 4. I was originally going to have his eyes open, but I just had this mental image of him wanting to be like his "Papa" and put the markings on his face.

Thank you! ^^ Yes, Kai (actually later in the anime, I believe too) is actually born to be a parent! Don't tell him that, though, and they're so cute! ^^

I absolutely adore the story, and it gave me a great reason to hone up on my poor child-drawing skills....

I am upset that Kai didn't turn out as well as Toshiro....I don't know what was about that day...I just couldn't seem to draw him no matter what I did....(sigh)

Anyway, thanks for the review and fave!

awww toshiro's so cute. The pose of toshiro on his own makes me think he's gonna be a little trouble maker when kai's not around!

(looks at llama) Thank you? (puts llama in field with other random animals) Hm....now I have three wolves, a fox, a bird, a tiger, a rhino, a dinosaur, and now a llama....wow.....

I think I'm gonna need a bigger field....

I don't know what's wrong to not be able to upload drawings....(scratches head) I've only been here for a few months but was able to upload them....hmmm.....

I don't know why. Sorry, I wish I could help, but I don't know a lot about this site. I know that's bad, but still.

Isn't Toshiro so adorable? ^^ I'm really glad on how this turned out. Yep, yep I am.

Yeah, I just had this mental image of it being autumn and Kai and Toshiro are going for a walk. Kai has him on his hip and then the wind blew...And we all know that neither Kai nor Hiro like to wear hats (well...Hiro after he gave his hat to Tyson...) and Toshiro is just aching to get the hood off his head.
