Description Stoneware, ribbon technique... The shape is simply built from bottom up. Some quick carving on surface + a simple glaze. I did this in a ceramics evening course I attended for two years... IMO my best piece from that time.

It's meant to be a teapot, but it's a little too bulky actually. So maybe next time I'll make it a bit smaller.

Yeah, too bad it's not really working maybe so well as it could... I should test this more, but it's HUGE so I need to pour in liters of water to make it even reach the strainer...

How big is it? And why not put the tea into the strainer, then pour the hot water through?

hmm I haven't checked, but at least a few liters. Yes that's the way of course, but I would have to do it several times... Well, mostly the problem is the size. And it's also a bit clumsy since it's so big. But I adore the design anyway

Lovely, I really like that you included a tea strainer with the tea pot, that is a brilliant idea. I love the colours as well. Wonderful job!

thanks too bad the design still needs some work to be really practical... but it's beautiful all right!

thanks yeah I was using some time to come up with the design, when everybody else just did the usual traditional pot. and. well. theirs came out often better, since this shape would need some reconsideration if I would really use this for making tea

jea harmi et toi ei oo niin käytännöllinen ku tonne on vähän hankala kaataa vettä, ja toi on aikas kömpelö mut näyttää hyvältä kaapin päällä...
