BEWARE OF LANGAUGE?! I've never... used that kind of language in a deviation before. I'm not sure what to do. |DMy projects from ~ImagineTheEnding 's comicing class. I had to draw an original comic, every page in a different style that she gave me. I chose to use my Riley characters. C: Atleast with this you can see their personalities. I had a completely different storyline in mind at the beginning so the progression may be a bit awkward...
My favorite pages were in tshipbd's style and Disney. I had a lot of fun with the last page too. I had to come up with a new style that I don't normally draw in and since I had so much fun with the 3rd page's cartoony style, I wanted to do something like that. O: I know it kind of ends ubruptly, but I didn't know how many pages it was gunna be in the end so I guess I didn't plan it well.. all the pages were supposed to be in black and white but I did the first one in color on accident. |D

I learned a lot from this actually and I challenge anyone who wants to improve to do something like this. C:
I decided to change some of the characters names. Reikai = Riley and Sasuke = Cody.

very cool! I liked the way you showed the different styles! Your style's good, kinda a 'toon/anime hybrid.

I really like your marvel and your new original style one. Since reading Taiki, I didn't think that you could draw so realistically. But it was nice to see that you could =] Your females look superb! And I always like to see different cartoon styles vs. anime/manga styles, so it was very neat O: Do you think you would ever draw the Taiki characters as the marvel style (as in like 4 of them or so)? I think that would be pretty cool to see. Haha, I'm not asking if you could, just if you would ever consider it. BUT THIS IS GREAT.

Thanks so much! I guess one day I could try drawing my Taiki characters realistically in a Marvel type style. haha I would have to practice it more because I have a hard time with it. And I agree, I've really started appreciating people's cartoon styles because I used to think cartoony styles were childish, but I've since learned that they can be used in more mature and serious tones. I've been trying to devolop the way I draw my normal style to look less manga/anime-ish and something more of my own. =] Thanks for the feedback!

YEAH. I grew to love comics in... pssh, since the end of 7th grade when I drew SAH vs. Panda Lard. Comics are fabulous. If I may say so---I wanna see Alex and Kai in marvel form, cause I wanna see how Marvel!Kai's hair would look and see if Marvel!Alex's muscle bulge a little. Mmm, muscular women. Yeah, I have definitely seen your style change and grow, and it's looking less typical Anime and more into 'Oh, thats Taiki's' style. I like it! Your bodys have definitely improved (er, talking about the comic now haha, in case you got lose

Thanks! I know I need to do some life drawing to get some better anatomy and also work on perspective and backgrounds. I also read the most amazing quote about drawing comic panels that totally made me rethink how I've been drawing. "Draw your characters in an environment, not standing infront of a background." I realized that I did just that, draw them standing infront of a background most of the time. D: haha I'm glad that my work in trying to make my comic better is showing though! That makes me happy that people notice.

so great! your ability to draw in such diverse styles is incredible. my faves are Disney and Marvel.. though the tshipbd's reminds me of Flapjack (I love that show :3 ) which is really cute

Love the art. I do have one critique and yes it is about language. Your first use of the word fuck is appropriate given context and the fact that you don't see two women break through a third story window that often >.> . The second use is too close to the first and is a pretty minor manner in comparison. This makes the shock value of the first less and weakens the dialogue. Just a thought ^_^.

Yeah I thought it was kind of awkward usage too after I read the whole thing as a whole. When I made the pages they were weeks apart so I didn't realize it until I was done. Reikai is supposed to have a potty mouth but I'm not used to writing dialogue like that. O:
