Description
"A Fine British Gentleman"This guy actually started as a doodle of a pair of cat ears on a church bulletin, and evolved from there. I tried out some new inking stuff on him, including a new inking pen. I'm not superbly happy with the pen, but I do like the effect the hatching gives.
Anyway, I think I'm going to submit him along with several other of my character designs and gijinkas into my senior show as "character design suite."

don't worry, there's not a whole lot better on this side of the pond.
I mean, at least you guys have david tennant. Though we do have Matt Daemon and Christian Bale . . .

Ahaha I dunno who David Tennant is but I guess it's true that we do have some cool legendary folk, like Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey and Simon Amstell and Noel and Mike Feilding and Russel Brand and Julian Barrett, and who can forget good old Sid, etc etc
But then you guys have cool people too so..
Maybe it evens out at some point

That is a wonderful movie though, and I have no qualms with him being compared to such an awesome character, even if it wasn't my original intent.

I also was reminded of the Baron, which I think is a good thing. But he is adorable. What kind of pen did you use. It does look nice how it turned out, though it is a pity you don't like the pen so much.

I have only five nice ones. I have to like them all for a plain inked piece. But this still turned out wonderful.
