I'd have taken an opportunity of the black markings on the pokemon's face and turned it into either elaborate makeup or a mask. And while there are some pokemon that look cool turned into animal-people, lucario's little more than a human with animal ears. And this gijinka's basically that. A four-legged beast needs only to be part man, and he's cool, but if a cool corruption on the animalistic side is all you can do to change it (besides ommitting the dog muzzle), the results can be kind of bland when that's not provided.
Heh heh, did I mention I don't dig Lucario? Sorry for being harsh with this one. I tend to comment on gijinkas' fun translations of features as opposed to simply how well-done the picture is. If it makes up at all, it's a good picture. Just not too interesting to look at.
