His fingers brushed against your knuckles as you let out a heavy sigh, relieving yourself of tensed muscles. Blankets were draped around your shoulders as you both laid in bed, the clouds coveted the world outside the windows. Your hand was lazily resting on top boyfriend's knee as you clicked at the remote, hoping to find an entertaining program. It seemed as if finding a good program these days took eternities.

All of the sudden, the remote wouldn't flip to the next channel. You frustratedly clicked it, harder and harder, until you realized that the batteries were probably dead. Another whiny sigh emitted from your lips as you shifted yourself in order to get out of bed.

"One minute."

But before you could get up from the bed position, the grip on your waist tightened.

"What are you doing?" You questioned monotonously as you glanced down at Kuroo, who was currently nuzzling his cold nose in the nook of your neck.

"Don't get up," His deep, familiar voice was muffled as he buried his face deeper. "You're a good pillow."

You inwardly groaned as you situated yourself so you could talk to him more clearly. "But how will I be to flip through the channels without a remote."

A lazy shrug was his reply as he reached his left hand to your cheek, gently caressing it. "But babe, aren't I entertaining enough?"

You shook your head, a ghost of a smile etched your stoic features, as you leaned in just to peck the chill tip of his nose. "Usually yes, but you haven't said a word to me all night. As soon as I got home from work tonight, you immediately pulled me over, not even allowing me to change, just so we could watch tv together. I mean, that would've been ok, but you haven't even-"

You were cut off by a pair of chapped lips slowly melting its way onto yours. Saying this kiss had caught you off guard was an understatement. Most of the past kisses you had shared with Kuroo were expected and passionate. But this one you didn't see coming. It was strange, since usually you would have seen it coming. This moment was just not one of your most observing moments.

Needless to say, his lips settling into your own was simply...euphoric. They fit together, your lips and his, perfectly like puzzle pieces. Your arms unconsciously wrapped themselves around his neck, as his arms that were originally circled around your figure began to bring your in closer to his broadened chest. His head tilted to the side, in an attempt to make the moment more enticing.

But you, having your frail weak lungs, had to give up this pleasurable effort. You pulled back, his eyes remained close until your arms unwrapped themselves from around his neck.

Eyeing the remote, you attempt reaching for it once again, but Kuroo grabs your wrist, kissing it softly.

"For God's sake, Kuroo, just let me get the damned batteries." You said, a bit of annoyance evident in your voice.

He shook his head as he pulled you into his lap, "Nope, I like this evening way better with just the two of us."

You sighed, giving into his motifs, as you rested your head on his shoulder. Light kisses were planted in your hair, as you both cuddled yourselves to sleep.
