Description More practice with style and minimilistic coloring

I'm sorry to say that I probably won't be working on my To-Do-List for a while. I'm leaving my house next week and before that time I want to do art for myself, and that includes plotting out character designs and the like. And after that.. who knows when I'll have access to a scanner? I want to enjoy it before I leave..

This is my Wind Goddess, Aeries. Before being forced into immortality, Aeries attempted to commit suicide by falling off a cliff. (She was a culprit of a grandscale war: She lost all of her siblings and parents) To punish her for trying to take her life, she was made to live on forever. Her body can become a part of the wind itself.. blowing forever and forever.

Yes, I write all of the stories myself and then end up drawing the characters for everyone on deviantART to see

She looks so young that I barely recognized her. I love her color scheme. It compliments her element. The hair looks quite natural and there's really some depth to her face. The coloring makes it look so realistic. ;3; Just knowing her sad past and looking at her sad eyes I just can't help but go awww... ;A; Either way she's still a beautiful OC, whether she's in her youth or not.

Just keep drawing art for yourself, Ammy. I'm looking forward to more of your originals and you are making quite the progress with your to-do list after all.

It seems so I think it makes them 'deeper' characters, because it leaves them open to sorrow and reality, I think. Not only that, but the greater the sadness... the greater the happiness ;u;
