how do you pick where the different colors go?

all of them. like the hair, and where you put one color on the dress. or if you want something on the dress what color that will be, and there is a rose in the girls hair. why did you pick the color you did? its really different the way you color things. i like it but dont get it.

Hmm, well I usually start with one color and then try to imagine what kind of color scheme will work best with it
So here, I started with blue and pink because that's the colors of Maria's hair color. Then, I moved on to choosing colors that would compliment her dress. That's what I did for base colors-- and for shadows, I tend to think of the color wheel and go one color darker to shade

Haha, every time we buy a printer it breaks a few months later. x) But if I use my camera and edit in in Photoshop, it looks OK, just so long as it's pencil stuff I uploaded. Colour pencil looks fail. xD

Lol, maybe we use ours too much or something, it always breaks within three months. And yeah... I use a digital camera but it's still annoying. Sometimes it works when I touch it up, and sometimes it doesn't. Plus it's hard not to get the picture to blur.
