I drew this butterfly dress sketch a long time ago with my character Zi, and decided I wanted to do it again while I had time to spare up here, ha~
Two more days until I can post commissions and other things, so not too much longer! =v=For now, doing some conceptual sketches because I want to try writing AHT again.

I LOVE that dress. I would really want to wear something like that, it's so pretty.. I like the blue and yellow colours as well, and the way her hair swirls in the wind. I also really like that simple background it just adds a lot of depth to the drawing! Great job

AHT is kind of a long term, feeble story because it's part of a much greater series that involves nearly seven other story ideas. They all take place in the same world, but writing them out in the order of their time is really, really difficult since it's hard finding inspiration for them at specific times 
Ah jeez, I need to get into a writing group. I'm in a creative writing class every semester but I really just love workshopping with people.

I think we get some of our best ideas as kids 
Writing groups can be pretty motivating! Mine helped me get back into regular writing, along with my sister's help too of course. I am going to a writers/readers conference in Calgary tomorrow and I am SO STOKED to meet tons of other writers. Brandon Sanderson is going to be there ALSDIHFALSDHF

Ah, I feel like they only look like that at an angle u @;; The scanner gets rid of a lot of the color and flattens things out most of the time~ But it makes everything look clean too :')

I use Faber Castell color pencils, a set of 12 or 24, depending on what I have on hand
