Anything you lose comes round in another formThis one is a few months old.
I remember cheating a bit with the background, so I wont' take full credit for that.
My meaning were to redo it entirely, but I didn't feel like making backgrounds at that time - and still don't -, which is why this was forgotten. So I'm just uploading it as it is, and well.. Finnish it up later.. Maybe. Or else It would never have been shown.

This piece of art is incredible! It tells a story in the setting. The way that Simba/Mufasa's body goes through cave tells that he is a spirit very easily. This drawing style is just like in the movie. It has so much detail! The lion glowing really surprised me. I love how you made him glow, it gives even more detail to this spirit. The cave is still visible, even though its dark and its so nice that you gave the sky a dark blue color that makes it look like the night sky. Nice Job! Its a truly amazing piece of art.

I just have to say that I love this pic it is amazing!
Sarabi is well drawn and so is Mufasa! He really looks like a ghost and you can see boths sorrow!
The shadows are very good made tooo and I like their poses how Sarabi lays there and how Mufasa walks.

This is amazing work and it just shows that if you really want to do something you can do it. I love the way you made mufasa opaque and it tells me that you know that he loves all the lioness. It reminds me that no one is truly alone. One thing that confuses me is that why there is no pupils in mufasa's eyes. What I would add to the drawing is surabi crying to show she really misses mufasa. Over all this drawing is remarkable and it looks like it's from the movie. I love every thing about it.

Oh dear. Sarabi plays such a minor role in the movie. She would be devastated to loose her husband and her son in the stampede. THe movie simply doesn't show her reaction. Poor Sarabi.Β Β

I think the reason for the missing eye pupils is clearly symbolic, it goes to show that the carnal substance is missing and it is only the existence of his soul. Amazing picture.

Such an amazing piece of art. All the feels that are hidden in this drawing.. I just keep loving this. I very well know what it's like to lose someone who was very close to me, so I can relate to this. Good job.

I always wished I knew the story behind Mufasa and Sarabi. They're both such humble characters. Especially Sarabi. She's so strong and puts up with so much after Mufasa's death. I can imagine her mourning for years, but somewhere where no one else can see her.
