hmm..Just practicing more on my character = Pnow with a head band or a bandage xD
and experimenting styles with hair and others.. = D

There's quite a bit that I love about this work
1)I love the the expression on his face.
2) I love the shading, the cross hatching is really well done.
3) I like how you shaded the mouth
4) Your lines are really clean and clear (no hesitant lines) which makes it look great!
Suggestions
1) maybe the ear needs to be bigger
2) I don't know how to phrase this without making it confusing but the skin under your chin doesn't dip in so there should be some meat between the chin and the neck.
3)make the head band a little lighter to allow for contrast. Of course, you can't really change it now, but just a thought.

I remember finding this some time back... Did you have an earlier DA account? I remember being dissapointed I didn't see more art. Glad that you kept at it! Ballpoints are such a great medium.
