This is the Synapse lineart *finally* colored, thank you very much. Hey! Only took me....what?.....6 weeks? The last week has been spent repeatedly bashing my head on the desk hoping a magical bg would fall out. It did, but it came from an unexpected source. That beautiful background is courtesy of my adorable friend, . Bless you, Phil. I dunno if you felt benevolent, sorry for me, or just wanted me to shut the hell up about it already, but either way....thank you.
Still trying to figure out the wonders of layers, blending, color values, lighting....er....coloring all together, apparently. Oo
Any and all advice, comments, critiques, pats on the head, or alcohol are greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to improve, really. There has been a LOT of crap in my life the last 2 weeks, and I've had no one to talk to. I know I try to be there for others as much as possible, but it seems when I'm the one in need.....well......everyone has their own lives to lead, I suppose. Anyway, I stopped coloring and started sketching, to make myself feel better. I'll get back to coloring again soon.....including some more work to this one, I think. I'm so glad you like it. It means I must be doing *something* right!

Do you do the lineart with a tablet?? If so how! I've tried, but can't get it to look so smooth and ushually resort back to the pen tool!

I did use the pen tool for all the lines, actually. Another friend pointed me in the direction of this tut [link] by . It's awesome...you should check it out.
I have been sketching on the tablet, though, and it's been fun.
