This is a giant snapping turtle. Β I took the original picture and then drew it out and inked it. I haven't posted any of these for a while but should have so more coming. Β Please enjoy.Related content

Like the face. The choice of patterns looks great. would make a good toys/plush.
Detail looks great. tonal balance looks good too. They are vicious and this snapping turtle is captured well. Cool!!

Thank you so much!Β I first met him when he was sunning himself on the road where I work.Β I took several pictures of him and then decided later that I could try and zentangle him.Β I added the underwater look later because I wanted to draw rocks and bubbles.Β lol

Thank you so much. Β The turtle actually took more time than any of the other zentangles I've done. Β I'd say this one took a good 20 hours if I worked on it straight through. Β But it's hard to say since I did this one two years ago. Β
