Your getting my first Critique ever.
I'll start out with the colors, as I really think they match up beautifully. The mix of the sky and the red light trail adds up perfectly. I really like how the sky got so many different colors at the same time. The city in the background really adds to the colors too, as it fits good with the sky.
At first I thought this were just a normal night landscape / sky photo, but the trails really adds a new angle to it, but I think the main focus still is on the sky.
One thing that could be changed is the white trail, as it doesn't really seems to be fitting the rest of the colors. It would have been better without that one.
Great colors in a beautiful shot. I really like it, especially the impact it seems to have.

It looks pretty amazing all over, the sky was th first thing I noticed, the mix of those darker oranges and browns is really beautiful. The blurred lights going along the road are pretty awesome too, and the city far off in the background really adds to how big the sky is, making it stand out that much more.
Mostly the sky is my favourite part, it really is just a beautiful mix of colours that go so well together, kind of dark and haunting with the a little purple mixed in too.

Just imagine how much power is wasted on a city at night time, I mean, street lights I guess should stay on but cities seem to light everything that can be light up, well, up.
This is really a fantastic shot, there are so many layers of colour and so many places to look, despite the fact that the shot is dark in a lot of places.
Firstly, the road and the car's lights passing look great (love that the camera even picked up the white lines on the road), I always think this technique looks very interesting, I also love the curve and the fact that it dips below the hill a bit and disappears.
The clouds are beautiful, rolling and rolling down to the city, they are thick and seem to sap up the light pollution. The glow over the horizon is quite spectacular, joining with the sparkle of the city (which city is it btw?) and then the light goes up into the clouds and reflects far into them. Very cool.
Can't believe how many faves you have, if thats not encouragement for you .. wow, keep up the great work Luke

I love night shots with the city lights in the background. This particular one is very special because of its its horizontal faraway approach, rather than the more common aerial view.
