Description A fire/Lava Dragon. I actually Drew this awhile ago (along with all my other dragons) but Kept forgetting to upload it.

Oh my gosh just thinking about this makes my hand hurt! Those scales! Gaah! I drew the lineart. Then I added line weight. Then I colored it with yellow. Then I shaded it with yellow. Then I shaded it twice with orange. And then I shaded it twice with red. wow.

Materials: Copic Markers, sakura liner, white gel pen, cardstock'
Time: somewhere inbetween 12-15 hours

Nice work, the bright colors and the sharply outlined scales really give it that "lava" look to me. The color of the fire at it's feet looks a bit odd to me though.
Keep it up!

Thanks! (and yeah... I know the fires a bit odd, I've never been happy with that bit)

Wow there are some really amazing details here!! My only real concern is the way the image is cropped. I wish there was more room on the right, left, and bottom edges so the dragon could have more room to breathe and no longer create tangencies with the edges. And this is more of a nit-picky thing, but maybe the flames would look more like real fire if they had no black outlines and perhaps some soft pencil shading to serve as smoke. But technique-wise, you did a stellar job!

Thanks! And also, I hadn't noticed the way it was cropped like that (It was how it was scanned in, I was more proccupied with increasing the quality of the image, that I hadn't bothered to look at the placing, but noticing it now, I went in and changed the cnavas size to give more room on the sides, so thanks for pointing that out) And with the flames, I was never quite happy with them, and I couldn't figure out how to make them better, so thanks

Once again, thank you so much for the feedback!
