"He was late for a very important date."Ok this one is going to take some explaining.
This is sort of fanart from the movie "The Last Mimzy" Which I recently bought and watched yesterday. I liked it obviously.
In the story a little girl named Emma gets a stuffed rabbit from the future named Mimzy, who is trying to find something the people of the future need that the people of the past have. Emma's Mimzy is the last of several Mimzys sent through time. The previous Mimzy belonged to Alice Liddell. Alice is a real girl, a figure in history in a way, she was the girl the story Alice in Wonderland was based off of.

None of the other Mimzys ever made it back to the future to complete their mission. Emma's Mimzy even says she's dying [disintegrating-- though we don't see any signs of this], and has to get back to the future before its too late. I figured if Alice's Mimzy never got to the future, it must have died. So that's what made me want to draw this.
This is Alice Liddell and her dying Mimzy. He was late for a very important date.

woha! I've read "mimzy were the borogoves" in wich "The last Mimsy movie" was based on and I liked it so much!, it's good to see a little Alice and her mimzy stuff, I loved it!

You said you have the DVD right? Okay...Watch the part where Emma and Noah send Mimzy home. When Emma sits Mimzy on the...Lawn chair...I think... You can see a part of the white material on Mimzy's stomach is missing!!!

This is a very pretty piece, Taki. I love how she came out; the eyes are SO expressive, and I love the slump of her shoulders.... It's so sad. You also did a really great job with the folds in her nightgown. Thanks for sharing it with us. Plus, I got to learn something new today, so I thank you for that as well, (I really wanna see this movie now!)

She was a real girl. The guy was a pedo and stalked her and after he died she was like twenty somethin and they told her that he had left her his stuff and she went "I DON'T WANT IT!! DX" This is great.

Yeah. He would watch her ALL the time. I think he based the Madhatter and Alice's relation ship off of what he wanted his and the girls to be. If you read the Madhatter and Alice are kinda... I dunno... close in that "He's weird... think I'll stick around and be creeped out." "Oh best creep her out, she expects it!" I dunno its weird.
