Interplay was going to make movies for most of their games...before they shut down completely for a few years. Doug TenNapel, as I remember, spoke about a game that was in development with Activision but things didn't work so well and the Shiny team disbanded once again. Remake was all we got.

hopefully the release of Earthworm Jim HD will help recreat the Jim series for the modern day era . . . .

Exllcent work over on U.K nick toons channel they starting showing Earth Jim again through it is on late at 10pm. I used to love the show when I was little, I liked Psycrow, Queen Slug for a butt, Pyscrow ,Evil the Cat , Henchrat, Professor monkey for a head, Princess what's her name , Peter Puppy and of ccourse Jim himself.
