Mitsume Temo and the Round Earth Committee are close to the victims of the earthquake and the tsunami that recently have striken Japan.We want to show all our support and for this reason, we have set up Warumart (our online store) for some charity sale! Well, the papercraft itself has been made by a 3d model.
Then we unfolded it and turned into a papercraft.

I plan on doing one for my character Yumiko too as part of my senior project.
how did you even begin to make a 3d model of her? I'm having a very hard time trying to find a good place to start... o.O

how to start on a 3d model... well...
honestly saying it's something that you should leave to pros...
Mastering a 3d software requires at least 2-3 years. I mean... honestly... it's not something that you can handle easily.
Even if you start form a base, it's hard to make the geometries that match your character.
Dresses are painful as well.
If you want to do it by yourself anyway I suggest that you attend a course or at least that you start with an online course.
