Description One of the prints I had for Fan Expo 2013. I want to thank everyone that came out to see our table! x3

I'll be at Unplugged Expo in Toronto next month as well, giving away some Okamirai bookmarks, and buttons, as well as selling more prints and some new ones too! I am also hoping to have some Okamirai volumes to sell too

Overall

Vision

Originality

Technique

Impact

First, I love the effect that you gave to water! Really cool! The water swirls naturally around blastoise, giving it a center of attention. This image looks really cool, the effects, light, sahdows and even the coloring are so perfect. Also, this blastoise looks very real. I mean, you positioned him in a very natural pose. For being a traditional art (I think) let me tell you that the vision is so perfect. This image is totally understandable. The background, that beach that looks far away, i's so clear.
From originality, I can't say nothing. This is a image that I had never seen before. You put a lot of creativity on this image. I love it.
Your technique for traditional art it's soooo perfect. You put a lot of details and this image does'n look bad or fuzzy.
When I saw this pic, I had to write a critique. This causes a lot of impact and the curiosity to learn more about this pic and the character. You achived something great on this image. I think it should have a story. Again, I LOVE this picture. (Sorry for my bad english).

Where'd you get the acrylic ink pen? I can't find them anywhere.

Hmm well it depends on where you live. I'm in Toronto, and we have an art store called Curry's here. They supply most manga supplies and have tons of the Mitsubishi pens and if they're not in stock you can order them through the store. You might be able to find them on Blick's site or eBay

This is awesome. My first thought though was, Blastoise is using the Resengan! Then I realised it's just the water coming out of his cannon....Maybe I've been watching too much Naruto lately... I love the colours in the water raging around him though. I wonder if he's called Naruto the Blastoise....

The colors of the blastoise itself are intense. This picture is excellent! For a minute, I couldn't figure out what was in the background, and then I realized it was a beach. xD

huh, yeah! I was going to ask if this was done traditionally or digitally.

If it was done traditionally, I find that very impressive!
