You can call him..Mr. Lonely o_OAnyway.. the background is a photo that i took, sometime in September, at the wild animal park. It was a gloomy day. I went to play with the photo in photoshop out of pure boredom, added a bit of a bluish hue to it, and used the burn tool on one spot..
Then i suddenly, and without warning, started to sketch a Lion on top of it.. By the time i was done, i had this guy o_O
Anyway, i like him :3
silly thing is.. the picture was taken when standing at the Tiger Overlook platform... However, the Old Lion overlook, which still sometimes holds lions, and other times more tigers, Is right next to it..and is visible from there... sooo it still works that i drew a lion..right?

Truth is, i was feeling a bit lonely, waiting for a response to an Instant message from a friend...So it just sort of started to come out in my doodling... By the time she responded though, i'd finished the picture.... o_O

thank you very much ^^ I had trouble deciding what color to do the eyes...went back and forth with the ideas of Gold, Green, or Blue..and i finally decided Blue seemed more..Lonely.

Yeah, cold colours do give off fairly lonely moods.
It would be awesome if you did a pair for this... Like, Mr. Excited or something, with a golden, happy lion.
