My favorite deviation yet!It's breath taking, heart stopping, captivating to see an Arabian horse at liberty. You don't even realize you're holding your breath as your eye fixate on the slow churn of the same; time stands still and it's just you and this angel on Earth forged from the wind itself. Your heart skips a beat as she slides to a stop and stares you down. As your eyes meet you know one thing: she sees you just as you've seen her, she knows. "Dreams on Fire" represents my dream of having Arabians in my life, Arabians like my Calypso, and Arabians to come. I truly believe there is a horse for everyone, and the Arabian horse touches all in one way or another. My dream is to breed Arabians to suit my preferences, and touch the hearts of the world.

Truly beautiful! The motion and strength of the horse is perfect captured! And somehow when I look at this picture it reminds me of those words: 'And God took a handful of southerly wind, blew his breath upon it, and created the horse.'

I love the movement in the sand, and the strong blue highlights on the horse. The whole thing (sand and horse) has a rolling sort of motion that I like a lot. It's gorgeous!

Thank you! I was trying to experiment with two things in the background: the sand leading the eye to the horse, and also pushing the sand in the foreground back with cooler colors so the horse stood out more.

No, I think you did a lovely job with the color! It may look like a dark liver-y chestnut, but the mane and tail are definitely light enough to avoid confusion.
