Beautiful, as was the film <3 I love it so much `cause I was in this place, looked at Eiffel Tower from inside of Musée d'Orsay's clock, where they had filmed this scene ^ ^

That movie was good I just made me cry through it all. My brother thought it was "Meh!" More like Oliver Twist he said and it kind of is but oliver never made me cry as much as Hugo and Dog of flander

OMG ME TOO!!! I was with my sister, my friend(Danie) and my sister's friend(Steph) and me and Steph cried the whole time xD We were talking about how much we cried and thought it was sad that the evil soldier guy that took care of the station couldn't get a date and how Hugo lost his dad and all those things lol xD

well I understand why people wouldn't have liked it all that much cuz the movie was basically a documentary of film history, mainly surrounding the first guy who created fiction movies (though they got a fact wrong, he ended his days working in a flower shop not in a toy shop but that's besides the point) while as the trailer left you to believe it was something more fantastical where, like, this victorian-ish era meets the future and looks really cool and the robot is the key to something more than just film, something revolutionnary that could determine the fate of the world. Now, when I say it like that, it's just my point of view (mind you I wasnt disappointed by the movie at all, it just wasn't what I thought it was) but for the people who thought about the same thing as me, getting a somewhat documentary with a twist to it about film history isn't the funnest surprise. I'm a History buff so of course that didn't bother me but I have to admit that film history isn't the most interresting.
Thus my point of view is worded.
GEEZUS I wrote a lot lol

lol well I agree on your point of view. And I thought the same thing on the trailier but when I saw I was still amazed and happy to see it but i didn't know it was a true story I thought it was based around a fiction book someone wrote to make it around that era.

Oh well it's not totally true, I mean most of the Historical related things are right but the thing where they found more sci-fi movies things made by the guy even if he burned them isn't true. There's only voyage to the moon xD But it was still awesome! I loved seeing everything! Oh and the robots that make pictures type of things weren't true either but who cares cuz they were so mystical and awesome!
