Description
The 1991 Toyota MR2, part of the 80's/90's Trio Toyota created to make affordable sports cars (MR2, Celica and Supra), this one has a 2Litre Turbo Inline 4 (3S-GTE) engine, producing 200BHP, 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 140MPH (225KPH). These cars were known as the 'Poor mans Ferrari', which may not sound flattering, but it had that because it handled like one, possibly even better. They were created in 1984 as a prototype along side the Celica and Celica Supra (then Supra became it'sown model about 2 years later). MR2 can stand for 2 things: mid-ship, run-about, 2-seater, or mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive, 2-seater, either way, its still fun as hell to drive.
