ok folks so whilst I'm working on my next "ask my avatar post"
i've decided to do another nice bit of simple paleoart.

basically it's a herd of sinoceratops on their way to the nesting grounds, having to cross one of many rivers.

*BASIC INFO*

Name: Sinoceratops zhuchengensis
Meaning: "chinese horned face"
Family group: centrosaurine ceratopsid (the group that includes Styracosaurus and pachyrhinosaurus)
Diet: Herbivore (mainly low lying plants like ferns, gingkoes, cycads and conifers)
Era: very late Cretaceous period (specially the Maastrictian period) roughly 72-65 million years ago.
Size: 7 meters long and 2 meters tall.
Weight: 2.3 metric tons
Habitat: dense forest and open marsh land (please correct me if I'm wrong)
Fossil's Locations: Xingezhuang formation in eastern china
Discovered by: Xu Xing in 2010
