Pepper from Sugar the Snow Fairy (which I haven't seen *giggles*) Her VA is going to be at AE and this chara was so ridiculously cute that I had to draw her. Yay! Slump's over! Anywho, watercolor pencils and copic multiliners. Hope you like it!Related content

I finally decided to get off my butt and critique the rest of your gallery that I may have missed or simply not been around for. So here goes the first.
This is a difficult picture to critique in that it involves a child, which, at least in anime, are always difficult because the actual physical appearence of the character never seems to have anything to do with the laws of physics, which in turn mean that the vast majority of my complaints are rendered useless.
First, I'll start with the lower half of the body. Her legs, both of them, are clearly too thin to hold her body up, and especially the left leg tapers off far to dramatically into her knee. Her feet appear to be pointing straight down, rather than standing flat towards us.
Secondly, and finally, I have to mention the hands. I know that you always try hard to get the hands right, in fact, if I had to guess, I'd say that it is something that you pride yourself on. Unfortunately, these two clearly slipped through the net. The right hand has what appears to be a pinky that was caught under a sledgehammer, thus breaking it in a million pieces, and the gap between the index finger and the middle finger is wide enough to drive a car through. The left hand appears to be nothing more than two fingers slid into the picture at the last moment.
Other than those, this is a nice picture that I think really captures the cuteness and innocence of childhood. So on the whole, I would say it is pretty good, just that those hands are pretty bad, and could definitely use reworking.
Ah, and one more thing. I really like the background on this one. It's a wonderful mix of color.

Neat neat neat -- IMPECCABLE coloring! Man, even with watercolor pencils, my drawings bleed! Love the contrasting and vibrant colors.
BTW, how do you that tie-dye, fade-y like effect on your background? It highlights your drawing nicely.

Thanks! *hugs* I use very little water. Maybe that's why there isn't bleeding? I'm playing with backgrounds a lot lately. ^_^ It's just pastel watercolor pencils. I overlapped them and colored until I had the colors pretty much where I wanted them and then took a damp brush too them. Becareful not to use too much water because not only does the paper warp a lot, but it fades light colors to non-existance. Any places that don't look right after the blending, just go over them again with the pencils (after it drys, so you don't tear your paper)

*giggles* I use sketchbook paper so it's waaay light. Lots of water is great on heavy paper, but put holes in mine if I'm not careful.

i only saw a couple of the first episodes; but it seemed really cute, they are little sprite looking people and there is a little girl that can see them, and they get really tired so they have to eat sugar, lol, it looked kinda cute
