So sad, but a true reality to the world that we live in. Amazing how such a powder could change someone's life. I'm sure that there is an amazing story behind this guy. Such a shame! You did a great job in capturing this shot. Not everyone has the guts to picture the reality of the dark side of the world that we live in. Great job!

he clearly has no more veins in his arms.Thats why he is searching for veins in the outer side of his hand.Soon he will lose them too and he will then go on shooting to the legs.then to the main arteries that are next and a litle lower to his belly.Then his neck.Then intravenous ends and he will shoot staright deep in his skin,intramuscular.Thats when heroin hell doubles up the pain and agony.I know people who lost whole legs.Amputation is very common among junkies..
For 3 years now im walking through some junkie areas in my place and i honestly feel better than ever.Relapse is something an ex junkie cannot predict.I know junkies that were clean for 10 years and they fell again..I feel confident for myself but an ex user should never say that out loud cause smack is a very strong and canning demon.
Excellent work my friend.I love facing my past through such pictures.I feel disgust about smack and these pics enhance that disgust.And as long as i feel this way i feel im going to be fine.

this is a beautiful photograph of something so intense. wow. was that headline intentional? sets the mood no. the harm we give to things we should love and cherish, but at the same time there is no judgement coming across here. i just see humanity. really beautiful light and warm gray tones. makes it really judgemental free.
