12.5x9.5in watercolor and colored pencil on bristolInspired by my friend's creature from his story. This was also my first attempt at using fire as a light source from within a piece.

I certainly wouldn't want to face a creature like this in a dark alley, or anywhere else. I like the detail you put into the light and shadows of the flaming tail tip.
The piercings look brutal, adding to the fear effect of the creature itself, I love the design very much

To be honest I thought the piercings were tubes at first and that the thing was created by science, I guess I was right to change my interpretation
